The Institute of Ecology at Peking University invite applications for the director and 5 full-time tenured/tenure-track faculty positions in the broad areas of ecological sciences in Plant Ecology, Animal Ecology, Microbial Ecology, Restoration and Conservation Ecology, and Theoretical Ecology. Appointments are made at three levels: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor.
A faculty candidate will be expected to teach 2-3 courses for undergraduate and graduate students each year, and to lead a team in innovative research. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply for the 'Thousand Talents Program' or the 'Youth Thousand Talents Program' through Peking University.
Salary for all the positions is internationally competitive depending on the level of appointment and is to be individually negotiated. All faculty positions will be provided with necessary startup resource and research infrastructure.
